Internet Revolution

Do you know we are in the Internet revolution? What does that mean for you? It changes the way businesses are run and skillsets that you need to succeed in your career. These days, it would be rare for anyone not to have an email account or for any business not to have a website.

The Internet is a new platform for getting rich online. For example, Youtube was sold for $1.6 billion to Google; Myspace for $450 million to Newscorp; Skype was sold to Ebay for $2.6 billion. Alex, a student earned a million dollars through pixel advertisements. Karyn Bosnak begged on the Internet and raised more than $20,000. A 26-year-old Montreal man got himself a house through a series of barter, starting with a single paper-clip. The Internet has created many millionaires. In Singapore, our local boy Ewen Chia and Jo Han Mok (both less than 30 years old) have become millionaires through affiliated marketing and copywriting.

The Internet offers the greatest opportunities to get rich and create a new lifestyle. There are over a billion Internet users worldwide. It offers small businesses and individuals in developing countries the ability to participate on a level playing field with any big companies in any part of the world. With a huge global market and low start-up costs, many have taken advantage of this new medium to create successful online businesses. It provides a lifestyle where they can work at home or anywhere at anytime. There are no employees to manage and no store rental to pay. It is ideal for home-based parents or those looking for part-time income.
