O Level News: Admission to Temasek Polytechnic

	Liu Mo Jia, Nemocha, sat for the Cambridge GCE 'O' Level Examination upon completion of our GCE 'O' Level Preparatory Course in November 2006. Upon receiving her GCE 'O' Level results, she sent in applications to pursue her studies in our local Polytechnics through the Direct Admission Exercise (DAE). In April 2007, she was successfully enrolled to be a student of Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore.
	After 1 year of studies at Beacon School, Li Yihan obtained 11 points for 5 subjects in her 2007 GCE 'O' level examinations. "The teachers and staff at Beacon have assisted me in both my studies and personal well-being. It has been a fulfilling and exciting year for me and I'm really grateful towards Beacon for paving the way for my future."
	Lu ChenFei is graduate of our GCE O'Level Preparatory Course. After six months of studies at Beacon School of Technology in Singapore, he managed to pass all 5 O'Level subjects in 2007. "Singapore is a good place to study. All teaches in Beacon School are responsible and willing to help me in my studies and personel life."
	Within 6 months of the Cambridge GCE 'O' level programme at Beacon School of Technology, Saliyanto's English grades improved by 2 points. He was successfully admitted into the Diploma in Computer Engineering programme at Temasek Polytechnic in June 2008. "It was an enthrilling study experience when I joined Beacon School of Technology last year in May 2007. 6 months of Cambridge GCE 'O' Level preparatory course helped me to improve my English grade by two points. Finally, I've been admitted into Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Computer Engineering course and I can now fulfill my dream of being an Engineer . I deeply appreciate the teachers' sincere concern and kindness towards their students and dedication in teaching. Nonetheless, Beacon has given me a nurturing study environment which was like my 'second home' although I was away from my home country.
