UK Exchange Students 2009
4 students from the Faculty of Advanced Technology of University of Glamorgan, UK visited Singapore for 4 weeks in August 2009. Beacon School of Technology assisted in the arrangement of their students exchange programmes with Temasek Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic. The students spent 2 weeks in Singapore Polytechnic and 2 weeks at Temasek Polytechnic. At the same time these students from the Faculty of Advanced Technology of University of Glamorgan had a chance to mingle with the international students from Beacon School of Technology. They shared with the students their experience in UK and University of Glamorgan. On 9th August 2009, the students from UK had a chance to experience Singapore's National Day and they watched the Fireworks along the Singapore River. They had a wonderful time. Temasek Polytechnic and Beacon School of Technology will arrange for students from Singapore to be on an exchange programme with University of Glamorgan in the near future.
