Keep Calm, All is Well!

Dear Parents and Students, in view of the Novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), we would like to inform that the Singapore government has taken the best precautionary measures and the situation is under control.

The virus is from Wuhan, mainland China and all the infected patients are under isolation treatment. As of date, those who are infected in Singapore are from the People’s Republic of China or travelled from Wuhan. The Singapore Immigration has stopped all travellers who have visited China in the last 14 days from entering Singapore. This is to protect all who are living in Singapore.

In a recent meeting, our Minster reminds everyone not to use mask unnecessarily. The message is if you are fit, don’t wear mask. Use mask only when you are unwell. Singapore has controlled our immigration borders very well so those who are in Singapore are safe!

Our college also has a low number of students from China and we had a holiday break for 2 weeks thus we have not been affected. Students who have visited China are required to observe a Leave of Absence (LOA) for 14 days and are not allowed to enter the college. Therefore, don’t panic and trust that we are in good hands! All is Well!
