Procedure to Apply for Study in Singapore
Step 1 - Receive Marketing Materials
a) Information on Beacon School of Technology and courses
b) Information on Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and Escrow
c) Application Procedures
d) Consultant/Agent goes through the Student Pre-Course Counselling Checklist (BST-003-SS-034) with the student. Both the Consultant/Agent and the student must sign and acknowledge that all the information stated in the checklist has been explained accurately and clearly.
Step 2 - Applies to Beacon School of Technology
a) Fills up and signs Beacon's Course Application form (BST-003-APP-001) and takes English Placement Test (where applicable).
b) Submits signed Application form, signed Student Pre-Course Counselling Checklist, highest qualification to Beacon School of Technology together with an application fee of SGD$300.
c) School checks that entry requirements are met and the authenticity of qualifications.
Step 3 - Selected by Beacon School of Technology and receives:
a) Letter of Offer / Letter of Acceptance / Advisory Note
b) Application Form
Student to fill up the above forms and return them to Beacon School of Technology for processing together with the appropriate amount of Application Fee.
Step 4 - Selected by Beacon School of Technology and receives:
a) Standard PEI-Student Contract and payment schedule
b) Student Escrow (FPS) Confirmation with fee payable list of payment details
Step 5 - Successful Application
a) Beacon School of Technology notifies student of Escrow confirmation.
b) Payment list/Fee payable is sent to student and student makes payment for 1st installment of school fees to the Escrow account.
Step 6 - Orientation programme & Course commencement.
