Pearson Edexcel iLowerSecondary Curriculum

Pearson Edexcel iLowerSecondary is a complete, three-year programme for use in international secondary schools.

This course is designed to prepare students for International GCSEs and beyond.

Course Structure

The course comprises the following units:

  • Mathematics

Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to:

  • Acquire the basic knowledge and skills of the subjects covered in the curriculum
  • Acquire the transferrable skills and experience enquiry-based learning embedded in the curriculum
  • Sit for the Edexcel Achievement Test for Year Nine which provides international benchmarking
Admission Criteria

English Entry Requirement

Possess a Pass in English Placement Test determined by the College

  • Students who fail the English Placement Test will be required to attend an English course conducted by the college to achieve an Elementary level

Course duration: 12 months (per level)

Total course hours: 600 hours (per level)

Certification:

Candidates who successfully complete this programme will be awarded the Pearson Edexcel International Award by Pearson Edexcel.
