‘Service Marketing’ Field Trip

On 16th May 2019, Ms Jia Sin and Ms Irena brought a group of students from Diploma in Hospitality Management for a ‘Service Marketing’ unit field trip.

Among the locations we went to were:

  • Raffles Place
  • Fullerton Hotel
  • Cavenagh Bridge
  • The Padang
  • Esplanade Park
  • Merlion Park
  • Marina Bay Waterfront

The purpose of this field trip was to let the students identify the marketing element learned in the class. Students are required to find out the promotional materials available at each designated location and identify at least four out of the seven of the marketing elements (7‘P’s).

The students were required to take a group picture and do a short video recording with the promotional materials and explain the 4’P’s found in it.
